Calape National High School's history is rooted in its establishment as an annex of Pangangan High School. The school's transition to an independent national high school was formalized through Republic Act No. 9810. This act, passed in 2009, officially separated the Calape Annex from Pangangan High School, recognizing the growing needs of the Calape community. The separation ensured dedicated resources and focused attention on the students of Calape. The act mandated the transfer of personnel, assets, and records to the newly independent Calape National High School.
